Because some faglord decided to remove half the thread i have to repost what i said:
I don't think vD will do that well, apart from that my top8 is pretty much the same as Mitch' but i'm gonna put Be Team somewhere in there.
As for my own guild i'm hoping for top16, realistically the chances are slim and we'll probably end up on 4/3 another time.

Whichever teams learn how to play Warrior by the mAT, or can make dervspike work in the new meta, will have the best shot at taking home gold this time. It's really open as far as I know.

i agree with ensign whomever can figure out how to come up with the best frontline will dominate. im intertested to see what types of gimmicks people try and pull out as last resorts as it does not seem like there are as many options with a lot of the defense getting nerfed.
my top 8 would be somthing like spnv, dr, hgh, rawr, best, euro, uf, and vd in no particular order

i predict rawr and vD for a final fling. i would like to see Ekelon split with his Sin and gank vD's base.
anyone know what the map rotation is? can it not be on the frozen isle?

If the frontline doesn't have persey lightbringer, it's not strong.
That said, I just realized you drowned in a puddle of water on imperial.

I decided to go with a very risky top 4 this month.
1. rawr
2. StS
3. dR
4. SpNv
I hear that smiters and ebon dust rangers may play a part in this monthly. c/d?

I wouldn't count on SpNv too much, their performance since the update has been horrible. I would however count on the still strong sinsplit Me runs. For the rest it depends a bit on what guilds like rawr and StS will think of. And if someone decides to run some kind of gimmick that nobody expect.

It seems that matches between European and Japanese guilds are played on the European server since the last update, if this is still the case during the monthly that pretty much rules out any possibility of a Jap guild making top 16 let alone top 8.
I guess Me and HanD got their capes in time.

We'll just hope matches between American and European guilds will be played on American servers then
Maybe they decided to reverse the server priority to mix it up? :O

Or maybe all the Asian Server are getting closed down. CONSPIRACY THEORY
Anyway since [rawr]'s Team Build got HAWK SMASHED, I see them getting RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOed in a Dark Alley.
uF, StS, dR and Euro are in the Top 8 for sure, about the others I still have to think

I understand that there's a delicate balance for PvE, and 9/10 times, I support that.
But, just for once, I'd like to see large buffs to skills to make shit blow up hard. The nerfs for this mAT will be good, but seeing some big buffs that will actually make fun skills playable again would be very appreciated.
Balance is good, but variation is almost as nice if not equally good.
I'm looking at LoD, namely. Esurge mesmers would be a nice change of pace as well

In a situation of 8 euros vs 8americans the last 2 years it has always been a 50% diceroll for the server. Half the time on american, half the time on european.
At least that's what I think.
